BYU Football Fires Jaime Hill Defensive Coordinator Add Comment    Oct 04, 2010

In an very interesting move by BYU, Jaime Hill will no longer be calling the defensive plays for BYU football, after being embarrased by Utah State on ESPN for the whole nation to see.

All week all I heard was how BYU and Utah State was not a rivalry. (this of course coming from BYU fans.) I must admit I was very entertained at all the people that would call into the radio almost embarrassed by the idea. Much to my satisfaction during the broadcast on friday they showed the overall record between the 2 teams.  43-33-1, which now is 43-34-1.  Interesting enough, that is only a 10 game difference.  Keep in mind it was 93 since Utah State last beat BYU, but before that stretch of games, if you do the math, the Aggies actually owned that rivalry. I guess my point is, next time you want to offend someone and motivate them to just come out and put on a clinic.  Make sure you make it known to everyone that you think they are a joke.  Oh and bring the motivation and confidence from a 3 game losing streak with you.

I'm pretty excited to not hear..."well, if we had Utah's schedule, we would be 4-0 too!" guess what...no you wouldn't!

Accept the fact you are in a rebuild....or hope at least.  With a coach being fired, I'm not sure I would consider it a rebuild yet.  Seems like the demolition for the remodel has quite some time before the rebuild can start.

So the offense has been horrible, they can't pick a QB, fate had to pick one for them, and the defensive coordinator is getting canned?

p.s. I only pretend I know what's going on with that team down south...someone has to!

Good time to be a Ute fan!!!
