Sarah Callister, Ally Dean, Tiffany Hellstrom and Amber Henry Are Among 557 Nationwide

    A record total of 557 student-athletes representing 152 institutions were named to the 2009-10 Womens  United States Track&Field and Cross Country Coaches Associations (USTFCCCA All-Academic team.

     To qualify, student-athletes must have compiled a cumulative grade point average of 3.25 and have met either the NCAA Division I Indoor automatic or provisional qualifying standards or participated in the NCAA Division I Outdoor Championships (including preliminary rounds) in their respective events. 

     Weber States SARAH CALLISTER (Fr.-Ogden, Utah / Ogden HS), ALLY DEAN(Sr.-South Ogden, Utah / Bonneville HS), TIFFANY HELLSTROM (Fr.-South Ogden, Utah / Bonneville HS) and AMBER HENRY (Fr.-Mountain View, Wyoming / Mountain View HS) earned the national honors. 

    Callister, who was named the Female Track Athlete at the 2010 Big Sky Conference Outdoor Track and Field Championships, was one of 29 student-athletes on the list of 557, who attained a perfect 4.00 gpa. She is majoring in Applied Mathematics. 

     Dean, the WSU school record holder in the womens 400 meter hurdles, posted a 3.58 gpa in Law and Justice. Hellstrom had a 3.69 in General Studies and Henry posted a 3.73 gpa in Athletic Therapy.
