OREM, Utah - Utah Valley soccer will spend its third straight weekend away from home when the Wolverines play Western Athletic Conference schools Boise State and Idaho. Both games will be played on a neutral field at Idaho State's Davis Field in Pocatello.

UVU will face Boise State on Friday at 2:30 p.m. MT and Idaho on Sunday at 11 a.m. MT. Host Idaho State will face Idaho on Friday and Boise State on Sunday as part of the Governor's Cup.

The Wolverines (1-3-0) have lost three straight after a season-opening win over Southern Utah on Aug. 20.

Last weekend UVU lost two games in El Paso, Texas, falling 1-0 to Texas State and 3-1 to UTEP.

Of Utah Valley's first six games--which includes this weekend--four of those contests will be on neutral fields. The Wolverines are 1-1 so far in neutral games.

In last Sunday's loss to UTEP, the Miners scored all three of their goals in the game's first 19 minutes before sophomore Whitney Fuller scored her first career goal in the 23rd minute.

Boise State comes in at 2-2-0 on the season after splitting two games last week. The Broncos dropped a 2-1, double overtime heartbreaker to Air Force before upending Colorado College 3-1. BSU is 3-0-0 all-time vs. the Wolverines.

Idaho is 1-2-0 and has played all three of its games away from home. Last week the Vandals defeated Northern Colorado, 3-2, before a 2-0 loss at Wyoming. UVU owns a 2-1-0 series lead vs. Idaho.

Utah Valley will finally be home next weekend as they host Northern Colorado on Sunday, Sept. 12 at 12 p.m. MT.
