IN CHARGE OF THEIR OWN DESTINY -

Utah State can solidify the third seed for the WAC tournament with a win at San Jose State. The Aggies swept fourth-place Nevada (9-6) who has one game remaining at Fresno State, thus earning the tiebreaker vs. the Wolf Pack. The third seed would be the highest seed ever for USU. In 2009 the Aggies were the fifth seed which was its best finish.

STEALING A SCHOOL RECORD

- Alice Coddington is now the Utah State career steals leader as she nabbed a steal at Idaho Feb. 19 putting her at 217 steals in her career, above current USU assistant Danyelle Snelgro (216). She now has 218 steals. Coddington is closing in on another Utah State record as she is third in USU history for most assists with 304 currently, also behind Snelgro in second with 336 and Taylor Richards (2005-08) with 371.

SWEEPING THE COMPETITION

- USU has swept Boise State, Idaho and Nevada this season. It is the first time the Aggies have swept the Wolf Pack and Nevada defeated WAC-leader Louisiana Tech on Feb. 28, 71-66. The last time USU swept Boise State was the 2008-09 and the last time Utah State the Vandals was the 2006-07 season. USU will look to complete the sweep against SJSU on Mar. 5.

WAC WINS

- The Aggies have nine WAC wins so far this season which ties the 2008-09 team that had a 9-7 record. The nine wins in 2008-09 is the most for Utah State since joining the WAC in 2005-06.

WAC WINING STREAK -

The fifth-straight WAC win for the Aggies against Idaho (70-64) on Feb. 10 was their longest-conference win streak since the 1975-76 season when USU finished 10-3 in Intermountain Athletic Conference action. It is the first time since the 2004-05 season that USU has been three games over .500 in WAC action.

DEVYN DOMINATES -

Despite starting only eight games, Christensen had logged over 600 minutes this season. She has 17 double-digit games including a career-high 25 points at Boise State on Feb. 5. In the seven games she has started the guard has averaged 17.1 points per game.

D FOR DEFENSE -

The Aggies forced a season high 30 turnovers at Idaho Feb. 19. USUs defense forced 20 Hawaii turnovers on Jan. 27 and forced 23 turnovers in the following win against San Jose State, Jan. 29, which is the 10th time this season USU has caused 20 or more miscues. The Aggies also forced 25 turnovers in their 84-69 win at Boise State and 28 turnovers in the 70-64 win over Idaho Feb. 10. The Aggies also forced 27 turnovers in an overtime loss (72-71) at Hawaii.
