SALT LAKE CITY The MCLA announced the 2010 National Championship All-Tournament teams on Monday and Westminster had two representatives.  Matt Lambourne and Dallas McLellan were each named to the Division 2 All-Tournament team.  Lambourne was named to the team at defense while McLellan was the top goalie.

These players exemplified the game of lacrosse over txhe tournament week, and their achievements are all the more impressive given the weather conditions they worked in. Each of these individuals was selected for being the best at their position, and their performance on the field often determined their teams success. 

The Westminster mens lacrosse team finished the 2010 season with a 13-8 overall record and won the RMLC West Division regular season championship. They advanced to the championship game of the RMLC Tournament and earned an at large invite to the MCLA National Championship. The Griffins then advanced to the semi-finals of the national tournament, including an upset win over No. 2 Dayton in the second round.
