The full video was too long so we had to break it up into 3 videos. Some of the footage is from the first video we ever had up here, but we took that down to add more of the footage we got. 	Varsity Basketball Celebrates Their Regional Championship 5.93 min. \| 5.0 user rating The 2011 Genoa-Kingston varsity boys basketball team has had it's share of struggles this year. Going into regionals with an 11-15 record, they were the only team in their region with a losing record. With help from their coach Cory Jenkins, they played hard throughout the tournament beating the Plano Reapers to put them into the championship, and then came out ahead in overtime of the final game against Elgin Westminster (22-5). The gym went crazy at the buzzer. The team, the fans, and even Plano students that were cheering on the Cogs rushed the floor with excitement.

	The Varsity Basketball Team Cuts The Nets After Winning The Regional Title 5.38 min. \| 5.0 user rating The Genoa-Kingston varsity boys basketball team won their first regional title since the 2005-2006 season on February 25, 2011. They played Elgin Westminster who had a 22-5 record coming into the game. GK was a big underdog with a record of 12-15. At halftime Elgin led 21-9, but the Cogs stayed strong coming back to tie the game forcing overtime. The final score for the game 46-43 with the Cogs taking the regional title. The celebration after the game was amazing and the Plano High School athletic director allowed the team to cut down the nets following the game.
